ECCV Paper: Spatially-Sparse Linear Attention for Low-Latency Event Detection

For low-latency object detection with event cameras, the paper proposes Spatially-Sparse Linear Attention (SSLA). This method is sparse in space, recurrent in time, and parallel in training, enabling the first purely linear-attention-based asynchronous object detection network.
- Reduces computation by 20x compared to previous best asynchronous methods.
- Supports true event-by-event inference on CPU.
- Code has been released.
