Analysis suggests Anthropic may release their internal "Fable 5.1" model before Astra is ready. It is known that Anthropic has been using an internal Fable 5.1 for further research and training. In contrast, OpenAI seems content milking GPT-5.6 for now. Anthropic may need to launch as soon as early next week to avoid being embarrassed.
