Stas Bekman (core trainer of BLOOM-176B) released a massively revised August 2026 edition of his Machine Learning Engineering open book — the PDF now runs 498 pages. All high-end hardware specs were brought up to date, examples updated to the latest PyTorch/CUDA and other critical ML components, and many bugs fixed. It distills hands-on know-how for LLM/VLM training engineers and has 18.7k GitHub stars.
