iamrobotbear · x · 2026-08-27
A user reports on a month of testing the Hermes LCM plugin, a lossless context management tool for the Hermes Agent. The DAG-based engine compresses active context while preserving a route back to exact messages. In a recent session, it compressed 173k source tokens into a 2.8k-token summary DAG, surviving a service restart and resuming tasks seamlessly. The agent also answered 12 questions about past sessions using the compressed evidence without issues.
