Harvard Sells a $699 Course Taught by AI Avatars of Its Professors

Harvard Business School built interactive AI video avatars of its instructors using HeyGen for HBS Foundry, letting founders practice pitches, sales calls and board meetings anytime.

Per the New York Times, the eight-week bootcamp costs $699 and is already live at 100+ universities. VC Jeff Bussgang, one of the cloned instructors, admits the avatar is a bit "creepy" but says students love it. HeyGen frames the goal as scaling human expertise, not replacing it.
