Taiwan's digital minister and famed programmer Audrey Tang sat down with NHK News to discuss what's needed in the generative-AI era, how to counter fake information and online harassment, and her reading of the future digital society. Tang, known for solving Taiwan's mask shortage in three days during the pandemic, summed up: there is fear in the Age of AI, but "we the people are truly the superintelligence" and can conquer it together.
