Runway MCP launches: call Seedance 2.0 and more to generate video inside Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor

Runway has launched an official MCP server, letting users generate images and videos with Seedance 2.0, GPT image 2, Kling, Nano Banana Pro, and Gen-4.5 directly inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Replit, and other compatible agents.
Setup takes three steps: in Claude desktop or claude.ai, go to Customize → Connectors, add a custom connector named Runway pasting https://mcp.runwayml.com/mcp, then connect and sign in. Official demos include generating and restyling product images, sending a product URL to get a polished marketing video, writing dialogue for character-led multi-shot ads (e.g., two crabs with a shellfish pun), and creating hero videos plus shopping-site imagery for jewelry e-commerce.
