A developer released Capstan, a lightweight coding agent with a C core and embedded Lua runtime. Distributed as a single binary, it supports custom commands, MCP/ACP integrations, and hot-reloadable plugins. Benchmarks against OpenCode showed Capstan passed 35/36 tests while using 10x less CPU time and 58x less memory.
