IBM Releases 470M Parameter Ultra-Fast ASR Model

IBM released the Granite Speech 5.0 Turbo CTC models, featuring just 470M parameters. They achieve over 12,600 RTFx on an H200 GPU, transcribing 3.5 hours of audio in one second. Two versions are available: Apache 2.0 and CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0, balancing speed and accuracy.
