Yuequan Bionic Unveils 38-DOF Bionic Robotic Hand

Beijing-based Yuequan Bionic Technology released the Ying Shou Y-Hand M1, claiming a record-breaking 38 degrees of freedom, 28.7 kg grip strength, 0.2 s finger closure, and 0.04 mm positioning accuracy. Capable of threading needles and turning cards, it uses a novel "tensile-compressive rigid-flexible coupling with muscle-like antagonistic drive" instead of tendons. The company was founded by academician Ren Luquan and Prof. Ren Lei.
