Copilot CLI Bug: Runaway Loop Consumes 13GB Disk Space

GitHub Copilot CLI v1.0.81 has a severe bug where long sessions can enter an infinite loop emitting discarded FileWatch events. This causes the TUI to freeze, 200% CPU usage, and the debug log to balloon to 13 GB. The issue appears linked to IDE auto-connection with VS Code; disabling it serves as a workaround.
