Hermes Desktop HUD mode now lets AI draw annotations directly over your screen
Teknium · x · 2026-08-26
Developer @iamlukethedev added direct on-screen drawing and annotation to Hermes's HUD mode: instead of just telling you what to do, the AI can point at it with highlights and arrows. Demo use cases include highlighting where to click or move when lost in a game, and it extends naturally to debugging, design reviews, tutorials, and UI guidance. Teknium notes the community is discovering many useful things with HUD Mode and the feature may be merged into Hermes Desktop.
