Huawei and HP Sign Global Patent Cross-License, Wi-Fi Tech Flows to US Firms

Huawei and HP Inc. have signed a multi-year global patent cross-licensing agreement covering certain Huawei Wi-Fi technologies for HP computers and peripherals.
Huawei says it has signed more than 260 patent licensing agreements with major tech companies worldwide, and over 1.6 billion consumer electronic devices used its patented Wi-Fi technologies by the end of 2025. The author notes technology flow has reversed: from West-to-China to Huawei innovations being adopted by U.S. companies.
