Chang Robotics: 'The factory is the robot' — selling automation culture, not machines
MatthewChang · x · 2026-08-26
Matthew Chang previewed a new website with the slogan "The factory is the robot." Responding to frequent questions about what robots they build and their recurring-revenue model, he argues these come from uninformed people: Chang Robotics builds some of the world's most complex yet elegantly simple robotic systems, has broken multiple world records for autonomous systems, and augments existing high-speed automated lines — clients evolve into the most competitive in their industries. Robotic transformation, he stresses, is about culture, with the firm acting as a coach for high-automation culture. The retweeter teased more to come and noted Chang has more NDAs than pennies in a piggy bank.
