OpenAI and Anthropic staff should refuse to be cogs of ideology

Richard Ngo argues that almost everyone working at OpenAI or Anthropic (except a dozen executives) should be viewed as cogs being turned by ideological forces. He states that when in proximity to such power, one's main moral duty is not to be a cog.
