Cisco announced a strategic investment in Teleport (formerly Gravitational), its fourth identity-related deal in four months, following Galileo, Astrix, and WideField. Teleport issues cryptographic identities to infrastructure components like servers and databases, and Cisco will use short-lived credentials to replace long-lived secrets.
