量子位 · wechat · 2026-08-26
Apple launched the M6 and M5Ultra chips. The M6 is the first 2nm chip, boosting Macmini AI performance by up to 4x, with prices starting at 6999 yuan. The M5Ultra features a quad-die architecture, up to 512GB unified memory, and 9.8x the AI performance of the M1Ultra. MacStudio is positioned as a desktop AI workstation supporting multi-node distributed inference. Due to global memory shortages and AI demand, high-end configurations are delayed until late October.
