Dev Tests Claude Design: Upgrading Tier to Iterate with Codex
zeeg · x · 2026-08-26
A developer shared hands-on experience using Claude Design and Codex.
Issues Encountered:
- Quota Limits: On the $100 plan, attempting to hand off a baseline design system resulted in a "no credits" error, despite the UI showing 95% usage (which actually meant exhausted).
- Resolution: Upgraded to the $200 plan to continue.
Workflow:
- Export and archive artifacts generated in Claude Design.
- Dump the artifacts into Claude Codex.
- Continue iterating in Claude Design.
- Specific task: Building a React + Stylex component system based on the dumped content.
Verdict:
- Generally positive ("I approve"), but notes there are typical challenges and caveats.
