A full day with Claude Design: needs the $200 tier, beats iterating natively in Codex

Developer zeeg spent a full day with Anthropic's Claude Design and approves it, with caveats.
- Credits: the $100 plan ran out almost immediately when handing off a baseline design system; he bumped to $200.
- Workflow: he dumps all artifacts into Codex to keep iterating, then back into Claude Design — a two-tool loop.
- Highlights: nice UX; the self-verification/fix pass (likely a second fresh-context agent) helps a lot.
- Critique: trying to be a generalized design platform makes it weaker; focusing on web-only React components plus a full design system manager (and a separate mobile one) would be a potentially great experience.
He's overhauling an existing app's design system with it and is far happier with the results than doing it natively in Codex.
