Rasyn Lab Releases Synthon 350M for Single-Step Retrosynthesis

Rasyn Lab has released Synthon 350M, a single-step retrosynthesis model designed to determine the reactants needed to create a target molecule. It is reported to be the strongest publicly available model for this task, with the correct answer appearing as the top suggestion two-thirds of the time and within the top five suggestions 90% of the time. The model works by reading the product as a root-aligned SMILES string, allowing it to analyze the molecule from twenty different starting atoms and generate twenty independent sets of candidate reactants.
