Lighter crypto system achieves >10x performance boost via optimization

Yukon Research partnered with Lighter to optimize the average block proof time from 5.3 minutes to 1 minute, achieving over a 10x improvement. This has been upstreamed into their live production cryptography system, securing billions of dollars in daily volume. The collaboration started with a conversation about Mac Mini fleets, which revealed Yukon was a better fit. While a 1.5x improvement was expected as "great," they quickly surpassed it to achieve >10x.
