Content company Every is building Every Agent, a single shared company agent that helps any colleague with any task, drawing on organizational knowledge and connections to the codebase, payment gateway, and analytics platforms. With no off-the-shelf option meeting their needs (including the copy-editing taste of their editor-in-chief), they built their own.
Mental healthcare company Headway reached the same conclusion, building Eddy for its 900 employees to meet compliance and workflow needs. Eddy is built on Anthropic's Claude Code SDK, hosted on AWS, and runs every conversation in a fresh, disposable Docker container.
