Antikythera to Launch Agentworld Special Issue in SF, Exploring a World of Trillions of Agents

Antikythera and Disintegrator will co-host a series of events at Gray Area in San Francisco this September to launch the Agentworld Special Issue of the Antikythera Journal and celebrate the publication of Superdark Factory.
On September 11, Benjamin Bratton (Antikythera, Professor of Philosophy of Technology at UCSD) and Marek Poliks (Disintegrator) will give a double-lecture on how the coming world of trillions of agents and fully automated agentic systems will reconfigure society:
- Bratton presents Agentworld, a new Antikythera research unit investigating frameworks for understanding, modeling and composing the medium-term future of hybrid human-AI societies.
- Poliks presents Superdark Factory, taking up the future of software production once the human sits outside the loop in fully-automated agentic systems.
