Anthropic has unified memory across Claude Chat and Cowork: tell Claude to remember something once, and that context carries across surfaces. Hand a task to Cowork and it starts from what Claude already knows from your chats — the project you discussed, your manager's preferences, or last quarter's client. Users decide what's stored in memory.
