StasBekman · x · 2026-08-26
Snowflake AI Research found that in long data-analysis sessions, agent costs stem from re-reading tool schemas, skill catalogs, and history on every turn, causing context bloat. Using three harness techniques, including loading tools on demand, they reduced the context processed and achieved a 33–45% lower cost per trial in end-to-end benchmarks with comparable or better reliability.
