Scrub: Local CLI to Clean EXIF, C2PA, and Hidden Unicode from AI Gens
Impossible_Fault_503 · reddit · 2026-08-26
MIT-licensed local CLI tool Scrub to remove sensitive metadata from local AI-generated images (SD, Gemini, etc.).
Features:
- Inspect or clean EXIF, C2PA (Content Credentials), and zero-width junk.
Caveats:
- Does not remove SynthID-class invisible watermarks (different layer).
- For files you own only.
- Optional disruption is best-effort, not a detector killer.
Usage:
bash
python cli.py inspect|clean
