VC Joseph Jacks to build a faraday-cage library of never-digitized rare books, no AI allowed
JosephJacks_ · x · 2026-08-26
Joseph Jacks (OSS Capital) says he has acquired several extremely rare, out-of-print, never-digitized books from Ireland. He will not digitize them, will not disclose their titles, and will instead build a private library open only to his closest friends—complete with a faraday cage where digital technology is not allowed. Widely read as a tongue-in-cheek protest against the AI scraping era.
