Vercel Connect GA: Replaces Long-Lived Tokens with Scoped Access for Agents
cramforce · x · 2026-08-26
Vercel Connect is now generally available, addressing the security risks of credential management for AI agents. Instead of provisioning long-lived tokens that are dangerous if leaked, Vercel Connect allows apps to request short-lived, scoped tokens at runtime.
Key Features:
- 100+ Integrations: Secure access to Slack, Linear, GitHub, and more.
- Security: Short-lived tokens, RBAC, and audit trails.
- Observability: Token and trigger monitoring.
This update resolves the "credential sprawl" issue exacerbated by autonomous agents touching multiple systems.
