Hedge fund billionaire Stanley Druckenmiller published a widely read WSJ op-ed, "Let the Bond Market Speak," questioning Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's bond market interventions. AI detection tool Pangram flagged the piece as AI-written, and Druckenmiller confirmed it to NOTUS: "of course I used AI."
He sees no problem with it: "I write everything using AI now, for the same reason I use a calculator when I do math problems." The story drew extra attention because the two worked together under George Soros and Druckenmiller is sometimes described as Bessent's mentor.
