Hugging Face launches hackathon to decode rare disease genome

Hugging Face and Sagebio launched the "Rare Disease, Real Kid" hackathon, opening a suffering child's genome and clinical data to the community to find the disease cause and effective treatments. The event is supported by Anthropic and AWS with $50k in prizes and compute, representing a direct life-saving application of AI in genomics.
