IBM Research releases Granite 4.2, a 30B dense reasoning model with built-in chain-of-thought. SGLang offers Day-0 support. Scores: AIME25 89.17, HMMT Feb25 89.17, GPQA 66.41; three thinking modes; tool calling SWE-Bench Verified 57.0, BFCL v4 61.39; 128K context RULER 128K 81.38.
