Headlong: A Continuously Thinking Agent Framework That Never Sleeps
agihouse_org · x · 2026-08-25
Headlong is an open-source micro-framework for persistent agents. Unlike traditional reactive agents (which freeze once a task is done), a Headlong agent stays perpetually active—inspired by the human inner monologue, it continuously generates thoughts in a self-guided loop. External messages are merely observations falling into its stream of thought, and the agent autonomously decides whether and when to respond, aiming to achieve true "continual agency."
