Agentic EDA needs CPUs too: NVIDIA's Vera targets agentic workloads

Discussion on EDA moving to GPUs: some parts of the flow parallelize well, but agentic EDA adds another layer—agents constantly read/write files, branch, compile, spawn tools, run simulations and parse results. Fast CPU cores, large caches and memory still matter a lot.
The author notes NVIDIA seems to see this too: Vera is built for agentic workloads and appears to be tested across NVIDIA's own EDA flows.
