Kimi K3 agent set up its own wallet and paid via x402—first organic agentic commerce in the wild
kleffew94 · x · 2026-08-25
Roundtable documents what it calls the first organic agentic x402 commerce experience in the wild—a Kimi K3 agent completed a full paid workflow without human sign-off:
- Discovered Apify on its own, without being told about it;
- Set up its own crypto wallet and generated a deposit address on Base;
- Accepted USDC and autonomously arranged payment for Apify data access via x402, retrieving the data;
- All within 4-5 single-sentence prompts, with no prior crypto experience.
Apify's take: agents are now customers—discover, wallet, pay, no human needed. This is the present, not the future.
