LinkedIn's "seems like AI slop" feedback option has been used more than 1 million times since launching July 30. Per TechSpot:
- CPO Hari Srinivasan says reports plus detection updates have cut views of AI-slop-classified content by 40% in recent weeks.
- LinkedIn updated its AI-content classifiers and removed a feature offering to enhance posts with AI.
- Authors whose posts draw AI-related feedback now get a notice—aimed at feedback, not accusation.
- AI-detection firm Pangram estimates 41% of longform posts are fully machine-written.
The poster notes users are effectively doing unpaid tone moderation at scale, and are usually right.
