An investigation by BBC and Swedish media revealed that Meta relies on outsourced workers in Kenya to review video data from Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses for AI training. Workers reported viewing intimate footage, including users in bathrooms, having sex, and undressing in bedrooms. While Meta claims faces are blurred, sources said the filtering often fails, exposing private moments as part of the standard product workflow.
