A team of developers has open-sourced FinGPT-Forecaster, a Wall Street-style stock forecaster available for free.
Traditionally, analysts combine market news, company metrics, and historical performance to predict stock movements. FinGPT-Forecaster provides an open tool that attempts to do the same for ordinary users. Users can input a ticker (e.g., AAPL), select a date, and define the news analysis period to generate forecasts.
This tool is part of the FinGPT open-source financial AI platform, which also features sentiment analysis, RAG for finance, multi-agent analysis, and report intelligence. The platform boasts over 20k GitHub Stars.
