Grok Build 1.0.9 ships with child-agent budgets and workflow discovery

Grok released Build 1.0.9 with significant improvements for developers:
- Workflows: Can now set child-agent budgets and reasoning effort. Agents can discover and launch workflows by name.
- Plugins & Concurrency: Plugin-provided agents appear in /agents and can be toggled. Concurrent subagents are more resilient to rate limits.
- UX: Shell commands move to the background instead of cancelling when sending a new message. /minimal and /fullscreen switch instantly without restarting.
- Performance: MCP-heavy setups start faster. grok clone is much faster, fetching only the selected branch and reusing local checkouts.
This is a solid update, especially for multi-agent and workflow-heavy use cases.
