Connecting ChatGPT to the Home Screen: Conversations turned into widgets
Dense-Map-406 · reddit · 2026-08-25
A user connected ChatGPT to their phone's home screen using the Glance app, allowing AI conversations to generate and push content directly to widgets. In a demo, asking for "good news from around the world" resulted in a custom widget displaying exactly that. This workflow extends AI interactions beyond the chat window, enabling dynamic creation of news briefings, sports scores, or work updates directly on the home screen.
