Hiring Manager: New Grads Can't Code Without Claude Code, 15+ Interviews, No Hire

A hiring manager (@pratikratadiya) reports reviewing 100+ resumes and 15+ interviews for a full-stack role without a hire: too many new grads depend so heavily on Claude Code that they can't write application code or explain logic without it. @kalyankpl adds that using Claude Code is fine, but engineers must understand the code and overall logic before execution—otherwise there's no fallback when LLMs are wrong or go down.
