China's draft law holds autonomous car makers liable for traffic violations

China's revised Road Traffic Safety Law draft distinguishes between autonomous and assisted driving. It stipulates that if a vehicle with autonomous capabilities commits a traffic violation while the function is active, the manufacturer or importer is held responsible.
