OpenAI cut GPT-5.6 Sol's API pricing: input down 20% to $4 per million tokens, output down 33% to $20 per million tokens, effective through at least November 21.
It's the first price cut for Sol since launch, and the timing coincides with Anthropic gearing up for its IPO — OpenAI appears keen to keep the pricing conversation on its own terms.
