Boston Dynamics Spot dog handles inspections at Coca-Cola plants

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has deployed Boston Dynamics' Spot robot dog for inspection duties at its Wakefield and East Kilbride sites. Covering nearly 600 inspection points, the robot aims to improve monitoring consistency and enable earlier issue detection. Instead of replacing engineers, it automates repetitive routes to capture better data and reduce risk, allowing skilled staff to focus on expertise-requiring tasks, demonstrating the business value of robotics in maintenance operations.
