Inherent's 27B Faraday agent outperforms OpenAI and Anthropic in replicating research

Inherent, a London AI lab founded by DeepMind alumni, released its Faraday AI agent. Despite having only 27 billion parameters, Faraday outperformed larger models from Anthropic and OpenAI at the specific task of independently reproducing findings from published scientific papers. This capability is seen as a milestone towards the company's goal of building AI that can discover new scientific knowledge.
