- Land Use: DCs cover about 3% of land even in the most dense areas like Loudoun County. By 2030, all US DCs would cover an area roughly the size of Disney World.

- Taxes: They are exempt from M&E sales tax in many states, leading to rumors of paying no taxes. In reality, they pay substantial other taxes (e.g., $1.3B/year in Loudoun).
