Thinky offers up to $50k grants for open-weights AI safety research on Tinker

Thinky Machines has launched Tinker grants of up to $50,000 in credits for safety research on open-weight models. Suggested topics include understanding alignment failures such as oversight gaming and emergent misalignment, finetuning classifiers for data, defense-dominant capability training, and safety-relevant scaling trends. Teams working on safety projects that could be accelerated by additional Tinker credits are encouraged to apply.
