New Yorkers report brands for failing to disclose AI-generated people in ads

New York City's "synthetic performer" disclosure law went into effect in June. Residents have started submitting anonymous complaints to the NY AG against brands that do not disclose the use of AI-generated people in advertisements, signaling the beginning of enforcement.
