Headlong: Open Source Microharness for Persistent, Continuously Thinking Agents
CShorten30 · x · 2026-08-25
Andy Konwinski and others released Headlong, an open-source microharness for "persistent agents." Unlike reactive agents that freeze between tasks, Headlong agents are never asleep, continuously generating thoughts in a self-guided loop inspired by human inner monologue. User messages act merely as observations in the agent's stream of thought.
