Veteran SEO: Claude can't do core update recovery work after Google's spam update
lilyraynyc · x · 2026-08-25
Google's latest spam update wiped sites from search and AI Overviews the same day. The quoted thread breaks it down: the update targets mass-produced near-identical pages, not AI writing per se; whole batches of similar pages get taken out at once; recovery takes months by Google's own wording, so fix once and re-check in November.
