CoRL 2026 Workshop on Memory for Robot Foundation Models Opens Call for Papers

CoRL 2026 will host a Workshop on Memory for Robot Foundation Models on November 12 in Austin. Submission deadline is September 24 (AoE), notifications on October 12; accepted papers get a poster, with a few selected for orals.

The core question: robots operating over long horizons need to remember—which drawers they've opened, why the last grasp failed, how a user likes their kitchen—but what should memory mean for a robot, what should it store, and how can we tell it truly helps rather than just giving the model a bigger context window? The organizers aim to map the design space for memory in robot foundation models and actively invite position papers, work in progress, and preliminary studies.
